I'd been working as a 3d animator the past few years and realized one day...I don't want to sit behind a computer the rest of my life, so I stopped working full time and went to grad school to regroup. There's just so many different things I want to do. Mostly I want to tell stories...in film, animation, video games, books, songs, etc. I really like the process of making things, and so I just want to enjoy the process of making them and feel good about making them. That's all.

I would rather watch a movie than TV, but I did like Felicity when that was on, and I'm not ashamed to say that I like watching the Gilmore Girls on Tues nights at 8, and my boyfriend has been gracious enough, despite his utter hatred of the show's dialogue and characters, to tape it for me on his TV recorder for the days I do miss it. I've also started this new appreciation for the Simpson's thanks to Fancypants. I love all types of home improvement shows and flipping houses shows.

Diary, Memiors of a Geisha, Omnibus: A Collection of Short Stories by Roald Dahl and then a collection of short stories by Vladamir Nabokov and then a collection of short stories by Ray Bradbury. I just found out Capote has a collection of short stories that I must read sometime in the future. I like short stories lately, b/c I can sit down for a half hour and finish a story. I read a lot of how to books, books about film and animation and software and stuff. I'm also trying to learn Japanese, so there's all those books and CD's too.
